0:05 – We turn now to look at the historic settlement reached this week to end Dominion voting systems lawsuit against Fox News for promoting lies about voting machines being rigged against Trump in the 2020 election. On Tuesday, shortly after a jury was picked for the trial, Fox News agreed to pay Dominion a three-quarters of a billion dollars – that's 787.5 million dollars – to settle the lawsuit. As part of the deal, Fox was not required to apologize for airing lies about Dominion. Because fundamentalists don't believe in the separation of church and state, and many of them don't believe in religious liberty for anyone but them. They also don't believe in religious pluralism, or secular education. They also believe that Christians should rule every facet of society, even if by force. These ideals come from Dominion Theology and the 7 Mountains Mandate. Two unbiblical but highly propagandized theologies that pose a direct threat to religious freedom in America.
